Who is eligible to join WAADAIM II?

Students from Grade 10 to 12 are eligible to Join

Where will WAADAIM II take place?

WAADAIM II will take place at our school WAAD ACADEMY

Who is eligible to apply for the Organizer or Admin roles?

Students from Grade 12 and 11 are Eligible to become Organizer while Admins Grade 10 through 12 can become Admins

What is the job of an Organizer?

To manage crowds and make sure that the flow of the conference is smooth and slick, as well as making sure that all needs are catered

Are we allowed to order food?

No, we provide food for everyone

What are the contrabands and what will result in me bringing them?

Smoking( ex: vapes)
Weapons(ex: such as sharp items)
Any nicotine products (such as DZRT)
Unnecessary/unusual accessories/clothing (silly hats)
If any of these items are brought to the conference, they will be confiscated, and the individual responsible will be removed from the conference.

What will an organizer benefit from participating?

Organizers will receive a certificate of appreciation, food and beverages, and accommodation for most of their needs, whenever possible.

What does an admin do in WAADAIM II?

Admins help keep the conference running smoothly. They make sure attendees are in the right place at the right time, guide them from breaks, monitor hallways, assist with registration, and generally ensure everything stays on schedule.

What kind of person makes a good admin?

A good admin is punctual, friendly, calm under pressure, and ready to help wherever they’re needed.

Do admins and Organizers get awards?

Yes. Admins and organizers earn points based on their contributions, efforts, and attendance throughout the conference. At the end of the event, the admin or organizer with the highest score will be named best Organizer/Admin while other outstanding participants may receive Honorable Mentions.

What is an inside committee admin?

Inside committee admins work inside the committee rooms. They pass notes between attendees and help maintain order during sessions.

What is an outside committee admin?

Outside committee admins help outside the rooms. They guide attendees to breaks, monitor hallways, and escort attendees to restrooms. (female admins assist female attendees, and male admins assist male attendees).

Does the conference contribute to 2030's Vision objectives for education and future employment?

Yes, the conference contributes to the objectives of Vision 2030 by helping students make informed decisions about their academic majors and future career paths. Through guidance from professionals, the conference develops students’ skills, increases career awareness, and prepares them for future employment aligned with Vision 2030.

What differentiates this conference from all the regular university fairs or career days at schools?

This conference is different from regular university fairs and school career days because
instead of simple information stands and brochures our conference allows students to attend lectures taught by professors which includes interactive projects and activities throughout. The event focuses on helping students truly understand university majors, career pathways, and future opportunities, making it more interesting and impactful than normal career fairs.

Can complete beginners enroll, or do we need any prior knowledge for the major we choose?

Complete beginners are welcome to enroll, and no prior knowledge is required. The concept of WAADAIM II is to introduce the basics to students, helping students clearly understand what they would study and the career paths of their choice. This ensures all students can explore their options confidently and make informed decisions about their future, even if they are starting with no experience.

What professionals would be teaching us, and what qualifications do they have to offer?

The professionals attending the conference will be collage and university students, for example, King AbdulAziz University, Batterjee Medical School, Dar Al Hekma, and so much more. They offer strong academic and professional qualifications, including advanced degrees in their fields, years of learning and research experience.

WAADAIM II helps you figure out the major that suits you best by giving students an insight on different fields through lectures, interactive activities, and discussions with professors. You will find out what each major involved and what you can do with the knowledge, skills and abilities you’ve learned, so that you make a more informed decision on a major that fits you best.
